About Us
My love for purebred dogs goes back to my childhood. My parents owned a pet/grooming shop and I spent many hours there helping with all of the dogs. Then when I was 15 years old my parents took me to my first dog show, the International Kennel Club of Chicago. There is where I got my first show dog, a beautiful Afghan Hound. I spent the next ten years raising, showing and breeding Afghan Hounds.
I left dogs to start my family and soon became involved with Morgan horses. Being lucky enough to have several World Champion Morgans.
Then when my son was 12 years old my parents bought him our first Golden Retriever. Jasmine was not a show Golden but she introduced me to the love and devotion that a Golden can give. My strong love for the breed led me to the conformation ring again. Going to many shows, meeting with breeders and growing my knowledge of the breed so I could find that foundation dog to start me on my way to becoming a responsible hobby breeder. Studying pedigrees, learning different lines. I had my first litter of Golden Retrievers eleven years ago. Breeding on a limited basis (about one litter a year) I have produced 17 conformation Champions and many other with obedience and other titles. I have been so blessed with great dogs and wonderful people.
I am a member in good standing with our parent club, Golden Retriever Club of America since 2005. I have been a member of the Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles since 2007, serving as a board member from 2008-2010 and proudly serving as President from 2011-2014. I am currently a member of the Golden Retriever Club of San Diego County.
I follow the Code of Ethics as recommended by both clubs. I am a "Breeder of Merit" with the American Kennel Club (AKC).
